Create Project | Documentation Confidence CRM+ERP

Quickly create new projects in Confidence CRM+ERP. Assign team members, set deadlines, track progress, and ensure project success with our all-in-one CRM+ERP.

To create a new project:
Click the + New Project button at the top of the screen.
After clicking, a new window will open where you can enter project details.

When you click the + New Project button, a new project creation form opens. It consists of two tabs:
1. Tab: Project
In this tab, the main project details are specified:
  • Project Name – project name (required).
  • Customer – the client to whom the project belongs.
  • Calculate progress through tasks – automatic calculation of progress through tasks.
  • Progress – shows current progress (e.g., 0%).
  • Billing Type – method of billing.
  • Status – project status (Not Started, In Progress, On Hold, Finished, Cancelled).
  • Rate Per Hour – hourly rate.
  • Estimated Hours – estimated number of hours.
  • Members – select team members responsible for the project
    (e.g., Yaroslav Krasii, Valentyna Klymenko, Artur Klymenko).
  • Start Date – project start date (e.g., 31-08-2025).
  • Deadline – end date.
  • Tags – tags for categorization.
  • Description – project description.
At the bottom, you can check the box:
  • Send project created email – send an email to the client about the project creation.

Tab 2: Project Settings
In this tab, you can configure detailed project settings, notifications, and permissions for customers:
  • Send contacts notifications – enable notifications to contacts.
  • Visible Tabs – select which tabs the customer can see: Overview, Tasks, Timesheets, Milestones, Files, Discussions, Gantt, Tickets, Contracts.
  • Allow customer to view tasks – grant permission to view tasks.
  • Allow customer to create tasks – allow creating new tasks.
  • Allow customer to edit tasks (only tasks created from contact) – allow editing tasks created by the customer.
  • Allow customer to comment on project tasks – enable commenting.
  • Allow customer to view task comments – enable viewing comments.
  • Allow customer to view task attachments – enable viewing attachments.
  • Allow customer to view task checklist items – enable viewing checklist items.
  • Allow customer to upload attachments on tasks – allow uploading attachments.
  • Allow customer to view task total logged time – enable viewing total logged hours.
  • Allow customer to view finance overview – enable finance overview.
  • Allow customer to upload files – allow uploading project files.
  • Allow customer to open discussions – enable starting discussions.
  • Allow customer to view milestones – enable milestone visibility.
  • Allow customer to view Gantt – enable Gantt chart viewing.
  • Allow customer to view timesheets – enable timesheet access.
  • Allow customer to view activity log – enable activity log visibility.
  • Allow customer to view team members – allow viewing team members.
  • Hide project tasks on main tasks table (admin area) – hide tasks from main admin table.
